The Chairman of the Competition Commission of Brunei Darussalam (CCBD), Haji Abdullah Soefri bin POKSMDSP Haji Abidin, participated as a panelist in the ASEAN Enforcers’ Roundtable session, as part of the Global Competition Review (GCR) Live: Law Leaders Asia-Pacific 2024.
The roundtable session brought together heads of competition authorities in the ASEAN region to exchange views on current enforcement challenges, emerging trends, and practical experiences in the application of competition law. Discussions covered, among others, enforcement priorities, institutional cooperation, and approaches to addressing increasingly complex market conduct.
CCBD’s participation in the roundtable session reflects the Commission’s continued engagement with regional and international competition authorities, and its commitment to strengthening cooperation and knowledge-sharing in support of effective competition enforcement.
